I．緒言
Cortisonの出現により抗ロイマチス抗炎症作用を有する事が発見されて以来，眼科領域における治療方面に於ても大なる進歩をもたらしたが，Steroid hormonの進歩も著るしく，強力な抗炎作用と副作用の少いSteroid hormon剤が次々と合成された結果，Prednisone,Prednisolone，6—methylprednisolone,Triamcinolone等が順次広く臨床的に使用されている。最近は更にDe—xamethasoneの合成により優れた抗炎症作用を有する事が眼科領域に於ても報告を見るが私共も最近Corson （Dexamethasone，武田）を数種の眼疾患に対し全身投与による治療を行つたので，その成績を報告する。
The oral application of 2~3mg Corson (De-xamethason) per daily on early stage,reveal-ed excellent effects on acute retroblubar optic neuritis, sympathetic ophtalmia, iridocyclitis a-nd scleritis.
A dendritic keratitis which hos no effect u-sing other treatments, hos great improvement by oral administraion of Corson.
No side effect was found without the only moon face after great dosis application of Co-rson on sympathetic ophthalmia.
