Two case of sympathetic ophthalmia showing favorable good results.

I．緒言

　交感性眼炎は，古来，最も問題の多い眼疾患の一つであり，その原因並びに治療に関しては現在まで種々の諸説が発表されて来ているが，未だ定説に達していない。

　特に，その治療に関しては，古くから種々の方法が施行されてきていて，その薬物療法については，現在まで種々雑多の方法が報告されている。即ち，消炎吸収療法，対結核療法，抗生物質，サルファ剤，ACTH，及びコーチゾン消炎療法，刺激体療法，免疫体療法，全身強壮法等がある。然し，最近では副腎皮質ホルモン剤の発達により，その治療方法も大凡の方向を得た様である。

By means of systemic administration of corson, new dexamethasone preparation (Ta-keda), remarkable favorable good results have been noted in two cases of sympathetic ophthalmia encountered in relative early and slight stage. Corson, a new steroid acts fa-vorably as strong antiphlogistica with mini-mum adequate dose indicated. Even in the long thermed treatment, therefore, a favorable effect may be supposed in such corson ther-apy.
