恢復血清点眼による流行性角結膜炎の治療

Treatment of epidemic kexato-conjunctivitis with local instillation of convalescent serum

I．緒言

　Adenovirus感染症による流行性角結膜炎（以下EKCと略す）を経過した患者は，本症に対して免疫を獲得し，その血清中には，抗体価の上昇が見られ，発病の急性期と，発病3〜4週間後のpairの血清中の中和抗体価の推移によつて，EKCは殆ど絶体的に診断される。

　此の恢復血清を注射して，EKCの治療を試みたのはBraley　＆　Sander^1）（1943）で，次いでBraley^2）（1945），　Wolffersdorff （1945），　Chang＆　Chang, De Marchi, Leopold^5）（1957）等も効果を報告している。

36 cases of epidemic kerato-conjunctivitis were treated with local instillation of the serum from after 2 weeks' convalescents patients with epidemic kerato-conjunctivitis.

They are 21 cases of males and 15 cases of females, and from 6-months-aged bady to 62 years old woman.

The average day of their first medical examination is 4th day, and their recovery is 16th day.

With local instillation of convalescent serum, their conjunctival inflammations got to reduce day by day, and subjective symptomes also became mild.
