要約　背景：多発消失性白点症候群（MEWDS）は，若年者の近視眼に好発し，片眼に急激な視力低下をきたす。原発病巣は網膜色素上皮と視細胞とにあり，視細胞の萎縮に伴い光干渉断層計（OCT）で視細胞の内節と外節の接合部が消失する。目的：スペクトラルドメインOCTが診断に有用であったMEWDSの症例の報告。症例：29歳女性がテレビの観覧中，左眼の視野異常を自覚して受診した。所見：右眼に－4.25，左眼に－3.75Dの近視があり，矯正視力は両眼とも1.5であった。左眼網膜に淡い白色斑があり，盲点が拡大していた。スペクトラルドメインOCTでは左眼乳頭周囲の網膜の視細胞内節と外節の接合線が消失しており，臨床症状とあわせてMEWDSと診断した。結論：MEWDSの診断にスペクトラルドメインOCTが有用であった。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report a case of MEWDS using spectral domain optical coherence tomography（OCT）as a diagnostic tool. Case：A 29-year-old female presented with visual field defect while watching a television screen. Findings：Visual acuity was 1.5 in either eye when corrected by －4.25D right and －3.75 left. The left eye showed indistinct white dots in the retina. Perimetry showed enlarged blind spot. Spectral domain OCT showed disappearance of junction line between inner and outer segments of visual cells. These findings led to the diagnosis of MEWDS. Conclusion：Spectral domain OCT was useful in the diagnosis of MEWDS in this patient.
