黄斑部に網脈絡膜萎縮がある8例12眼の網膜断層像を光干渉断層計で検索した。男性7例，女性1例で，年齢は平均48歳である。内訳は，錐体ジストロフィ2眼，陳旧性の中心性漿液性網脈絡膜症3眼，輪紋状脈絡膜ジストロフィ2眼，原因不明の黄斑ジストロフィ2眼，びまん性網膜ジストロフィ2眼，鈍性外傷による網膜振盪症1眼で，全例に網膜血管の異常はなかった。黄斑萎縮部では黄斑外縁の網膜厚は正常の約74％に菲薄化し，中心窩底は正常の約36％に菲薄化していた。中心窩の陥凹の深さは正常範囲にあった。黄斑萎縮では網膜内層の厚さが保たれ，網膜外層が菲薄化していると結論される。

We evaluated 12 eyes of 8 cases of chorloretinal macular atrophy using an optical coherent tomography（OCT）. The cases included 7 males and 1 female. All were adults aged 48 years in average. The series comprised cone dystrophy 2 eyes,protracted central serous chorioretinopathy 3 eyes,areolar choroidal dystrophy 2 eyes,idiopathic macular dystrophy 2 eyes,diffuse retinal dystrophy 2 eyes,and commotio retinae 1 eye. No case manifested abnormal retinal vessels. The retinal thickness showed a decrease to 74％ of normal value in at the outer margin of the macula and to 36％ at the bottom of the fovea. Depth of the foveal depression was within the norrnal range. The findings show that the outer retinal layers are selectively attenuated in chorioretinal macular atrophy.
