　Corticobasal degeneration（CBD）と進行性核上性麻痺（PSP）において，正中神経刺激により得られた体性感覚誘発電位（SEP）を比較検討した．CBD群とPSP群を比較したところ，潜時，振幅ともに有意差はなかった。SEPの左右差に注目すると，CBD群では頭頂部SEPにおいて振幅低下の左右差が有意に認められた。両疾患の鑑別にSEPが有用である可能性が示唆された。

It is by no means easy to make an early differential diagnosis between corticobasal degene-ration (CBD) and progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), because both disorders occasionally show similar clinical features such as parkinsonism, su-pranuclear gaze palsy, or dementia. In the present study, we studied somatosensory-evoked potentials (SEPs) in 4 CBD and 8 PSP patients. SEPs after median nerve stimulation (0.2 ms square wavedelivered with a frequency of 1 Hz) were recorded from bilateral parietal and midfrontal electrodes.
