A 57-year-old Woman with Progressive Disturbance of Gait and Mental Deterioration

　症例　O．M．，57歳女性

　主訴　しゃべっていると言葉が止まらなくなる，転びやすい。

We report a 57-year-old woman with progressive gait disturbance and mental deterioration. She was well until March 1995, when she was 54 years of the age. At that time she noted a gradual onset of tremor and difficulty using her hand. Similar symptoms ap-peared in her right hands, and she visited another hospital, where 300 mg of levodopa and 7.5 mg of bro-mocriptine were prescribed. These medication did not help her symptoms. In the summer of 1996, she be-came to fall down easily. In September of the same year, she started to repeat the same words many times.
