　B型C型肝炎ウイルス重感染に伴うCIDPの1例を報告した。症例は，死亡時54歳女性，31歳時に輸血歴を有し，43歳，B型肝炎保因者との指摘を受けた。1987年，肝機能障害が出現し，徐々に悪化した。1992年5月，肝障害の悪化に伴い，手足のビリビリ感が出現し，手袋靴下型の感覚低下・腱反射の低下がみられた。C型肝炎ウイルス抗体も陽性であった。その後，筋力低下が出現し，感覚障害も増悪した。髄液検査では蛋白細胞解離が，神経伝導検査では著明な終末潜時・伝導速度の延長とtemporal dispersionがみられ，腓腹神経生検では，節性脱髄，大径有髄線維の著明な減少とonion bulb形成を認めた。CIDPと診断し，メチルプレドニゾロンを投与したが，症状の大きな改善はなく，肝機能障害が進行し肝不全で死亡した。剖検では肝硬変が認められたが，悪性腫瘍はなかった。本例は肝機能の増悪に伴い神経症状も増悪しており，CIDPの発症に肝炎ウイルスの関与が示唆された。

A patient with chronic inflammatory demyelinat-ing polyneuropathy (CIDP) associated with type B and type C hepatitis virus infection is reported.

A 54-year-old female who had a blood transfu-sion at the age of 31 years was diagnosed as a carrier of hepatitis B virus at the age of 43. Liver dysfunction was first noted in 1987 and gradually grew worse year by year. Beginning in early June 1992, the patients general fatigue became worse, her serum GOT and GPT levels became elevated, and she complained of a tingling sensation in her arms and legs.
