はじめに

　頭部外傷の増加と脳血管撮影の普及により中硬膜動脈の損傷による硬膜外血腫に遭遇することは日常茶飯事となつてきた。

　しかし中硬膜動脈と併走せる中硬膜動脈との間に形成された動静脈瘻は非常にまれな疾患で，1951年Finsher^2）の報告以来，現在までに文献上11例を数えるにすぎない（付表）。

A 46 years old man, had an accident of head trauma with unconsciousness before 14 years, was transported to the hospital because of attack of sub-arachnoidal hemorrhage.

Carotid angiography showed arterio-venous fistula of the left middle meningeal vessels.

Removal of the fistula was carried out.

We discussed on 12 A-V fistula of the middle meningeal vessels, which we could have known : 11caves have anamnesis of the head trauma, 8 cases have fracture of the skull, 3 cases have bruit. In all except 2 cases, middle meningeal artery connect to the superior sagittal sinus or sphenoparietal sinus. Removal of the fistula is necessary as radical opera-tion.
