I．緒言

　本症例は，その精神症状に注目して他の2症例とともに，脳橋幻覚症として報告したものであるが，他の2症例では，精神症状が身体症状の改善とともに消失したのに反し，本症例は，身体症状が改善されることなくついに死亡したものである。以下その剖検結果をのべ，臨床症状との関連を考察してみよう。

We reported an autopsy case who showed a typical Foville' syndrome with characteristic mental sympto-ms.

Autopsy revealed the severe degeneration of Tractus tegmenti centralis and the hypertrophy of Olive nucl-eus. But the pyramidal tract were not involved.

It was considered that in this case the hemiplegia and the hypertrophy of Olive nucleus was caused by the deg. of Tractus, teg. centralis And we discussed the genesis of mental symptoms.
