右側脳室より発生せる脈絡叢乳嘴腫の1例—本邦報告例の概観

AN AUTOPSY CASE OF THE CHOROID-PLEXUS TUMOR ORIGINATED FROM THE RIGHT LATERAL VENTRICLE : LITERARY REVIEW OF THE CASES IN JAPAN

I．緒　言

　脳室の脈絡叢より発生する乳嘴腫は，脳腫瘍の中でも極めて稀なものに属し，著者の調査した所によると，本邦では今日迄に14例の報告があるのみである。著者は最近11歳の女児の右側脳室脈絡叢に原発した定型的乳嘴腫の1例を経験したのでここに報告し，あわせて本邦例の文献的考察を加えてみたい。

Choroidplexus papilloma is a rare tumorand only 14 cases have been reported in ourcountry. This cases is a typical plexus papil-loma originated from the right lateral vent-ricle of 11 years old female. Since about 2months, she complained of severe frontalheadache, nausea and vomitting. Diplopia anddisturbance of the right visual acuity werefollowed gradually and she was admitted tothe surgical department of our University.Laboratory examinations revealed papillaedematosa, disturbance of the bilateral vis-ual acuity and narrowing of the bilateral vis-ual field. Liquor pressure was 530 mm (wa-ter). Dissociation of sutura coronalis and su-tura lambdoidea were showed in x-ray pho-tograph. She died of dispnoea one hour laterafter the pneumoventriculography. On auto-psy, the brain was markedly edematous, thegyri were flattened at the right cerebralhemisphere with a moderately hard consiste-ncy. On section, there was a pink colouredcowlyflower like tumor mass of a child'sfist size at the lower part of the right hemis-phere with a succession to the right lateralventricle.
