I．はじめに

　脈絡叢乳頸腫は，原発性脳腫瘍のO．4—O．6％^11）の頻度を占める比較的まれな腫瘍である．側脳室，第4脳室に好発^10），第3脳室における発生頻度は，10-15％^3）である．また1歳未満の小児に多く，2歳以内では60.2％^9）を占めるという．本邦において報告された第3脳室脈絡叢乳頭腫7例^{1,6,7,8,14）}中，1歳以下5例，2歳8カ月が1例，12歳が1例である．今回われわれは，19歳の男性で無症状で発見され，腫瘍摘出術を施行し良好な経過を得た第3脳室脈絡叢乳頭腫の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する，

A rare case of choroid plexus papilloma in the third ventricle is presented.

A 19 year old male patient was admitted to our hospit-al for further examination of a head injury. On admis-sion, he was asymptomatic. CT and MRI showed a homogeneous mass extending from the third ventricle to the right lateral ventricle.

The right lateral ventricle was slightly enlarged. Cra-niograms showed calcification above the sella turcica.Cerebral angiograms disclosed a tumor stain fed by the right medial posterior choroidal artery in the third ven-tricle. Anterior transcallosal approach was chosen for the extirpation of the tumor. Histological study revealed choroid plexus papilloma. The postoperative course was uneventful.
