Ⅰ．はじめに

　choroid plexus papillomaは小児脳腫瘍中1-3％の発生率とされ^3,9,11），比較的稀な腫瘍であるが，本邦においては特に悪性例の報告が少ない^{8,12,14,23）}．

　今回われわれは，側脳室三角部を中心に右大脳半球のほぼ半分を占め，組織学的にchoroid plexus carcinomaと診断された1歳4カ月女児の腫瘍亜全剔例を経験したので，若干の考察とともに報告する．

A 1-year-and-4-month-old girl with giant choroid plexus carcinoma was reported from a viewpoint of surgical treatment. As this tumor develops in the ventricular system, rapid deterioration of the general condition due to marked intracranial hypertention is seen especially in children. Therefore, the first aid of the surgical treatment is the control of the intracranial pressure by continuous ventricular drainage in an attempt to improve the general condition of the patient.
