Depot-kallikleinによるParkinsonism治験例

DEPOT-KALLIKLEIN TREATMENT OF PARKINSONISM

　不随意運動症，特にParkinsonismの薬物療法には従来Belladonna, Scopolamin等の筋弛緩，鎮静的作用を有する薬物が用いられ，軽症，中等症の患者に対してはかなりな治療効果を期待出来るが，口渇，胃腸障害，心・血管に対する抑制作用等の副作用のため長期間の服用は困難である。近年Artane Aturban Methocarbamol，Kemadrin^{1）2）3）4）}等の合成筋弛緩剤が使用される様になり副作用は軽減され，一般に治療効果があがる様になつたが，尚頭痛，視力障害，食思不振の等副作用のため服薬を中止しなければならない場合が少くない。一方ごく最近になつて外科療法特に定位的脳深部手術が不随意運動症の治療に応用され薬物療法では及び得ない様な効果をあげ得る事が多いために，漸次外科療法特に定位的脳深部手術が行われる傾向にある。然し同じParkin-sonismの中でも動脈硬化性のものと考えられる症例に於ては，脳血行を改善せしめ得る様な薬物並びに手術により，症状の改善の見られるものが少くない事が知られて居る。

The patients of Parkinsonism, nowadays, are treated by medication-chiefly synthetic muscle relaxants,-or by surgical treatment, -chiefly stereotaxic operations-,

But the operative treatment is often con-traindicated to the patient of arteriosclerotic Parkinsonism, on the other hand we have known the fact that symptoms of arteriosc-lerotic Parkinsonism are often improved by the improvement of conditions of the brain blood supply, so I administered the Depot-Kalliklein (Bayer) to 7 patients of arterio-sclerotic Parkinsonism and 4 of them attained good results, and 3 patients of non arterio-sclerotic Parkinsonism, whom I administered the Depot-Kalliklein as the control, attained no improvement.

Among patients who attained good results, some showed the improvement of the arterio-sclerotic findings of retinal artery, paraller with the improvement of motor disorders, and the other showed the improvement of vegetative disorders, paraller with the imp-rovement of motor disorders.
