I．緒言
小視現象は眼科学的には網膜炎，調節麻痺，輻輳痙攣等において認められ1）2），その他心因性疾患特にヒステリー，癲癇性意識障害等に認められるといわれ3），それ等は眼球の変化（主に調節異常），意識の変化，知覚の恒常性の低下の三者一体となり，小視現象が発現するものと考えられている。しかし本症例においては恒常性の低下のみ認められ，他の眼球の変化，意識の変化を認めず，意識鮮明時に発作性に小視現象を認める点で稀有な症例であると考える。小視，大視等の視知覚の異常にふれた研究は，我国ではわずかに鈴木の論文のみである4）。鈴木は動的知覚論に近い立場をとり，知覚の異常を最近の知覚研究の諸方向を省みながら，実験心理学との関連において考察したいと記し，小視，大視，多視につきいくつかの実験を行つてはいるが，はつきりした結果は出ていない。したがつて我々は小視の一例をとりあげ，その原因がなんであるか，小視の発現はどのような経過をとるか，更に小視の生じていないときの視知覚は正常者と違わないであろうか等の問題につき種々検索を行い興味ある結果を得たのでここに報告する。
Neurological and experimental psychological studies have been made on a patient, aged 15 male, who complained of paroxysmal mic-ropsia.
The results obtained were summerized as follows.
1. In the ordinary neurological examinations, no specific abnormal findings could not be detected but myopia.
2. On pneumoencephalography, it was found that bilateral ventricle were slightly deformed and enlarged, and that right and left ven tricles were not symmetrical.
3. Electroencephalographic patterns, when the fit of micropsia did not occur, showed 6 c/s high voltage slow wave and spike waves on all waves of the right side, and also sho-wed small spike and low voltage slow waves on all waves of the left sides.
4. It appeared that the micropsia occured by the epileptic disturbances according to the follow findings;
1) It appeared paroxysmally.
2) It disappeared by the antiepileptic drugs.
3) The abnormal findings existed on the pneumoencephalograph and the electroenceph-alogram.
5. Moreover, authors tried psychopatholo-gical and psychological examinations to occura-nce mechanismes of the micropsia.
