A clinical evaluation was made in metamorpho-psia in 10 out of 86 eyes with tilted disc syndrome. Fluorescein angiography was performed in 65 eyes including the 10 eyes with metamorphopsia.

A patchy or band-shaped granular hyperfluores-cence was seen along the upper margin of inferior staphyloma near the macula in 14 eyes. The main findings of granular hyperfluorescence were pigment epithelium window defect in 12 eyes and choriocapillary atrophy combined of in the other 2 eyes.

All the 10 eyes with metamorphopsia manifested this granular hyperfluorescence.
