　Glomus腫瘍はおもに四肢の皮下，爪下に好発する淡紫色ないし桃色の腫瘍で，胃に発生することは稀である．その報告例はKanwar⁴⁾によると世界で67例（本邦例6例を含む）であり，本邦では庄司⁵⁾の報告以来十数例の報告があるのみである．

　われわれは胃幽門前庭部に発生した粘膜下腫瘍で，選択的腹腔動脈造影で特異な像を呈し，術後組織学的にglomus腫瘍と診断した症例を経験したので，以下にそれを報告し，併せて若干の文献的考察を行なう．

　A case of glomus tumor of the stomach in a 58-year-old female is reported. Her chief complaint was epigastralgia during the last 20 years. Preoperative angiographic study revealed increase of reticular vascular shadow resembling a leiomyomatous tumor. The tumor was located on the anterior wall along the greater curvature close to pyloric ring.

　It measured 2.3×1.5×0.8 cm and was solid with many minute vascular spaces. Histologically, the tumor was surrounded by smooth muscle of the gastric wall, and composed of many dilated vascular spaces surrounded by masses of uniform cells. The cells had round nuclei and moderate amounts of cytoplasm with clear space surrounding them.

　Electronmicroscopic study on the formalin-fixed material revealed dense particles, fine fibrils and pinocytic vesicles suggesting smooth muscle cell origin. Our case is the 78th case reported in the world literature and the 17th in Japan.
