Abstract The patient was an 83-year-old man who was prescribed Sodium picosulfate and Sennoside for his constipation by a neighborhood doctor. He subsequently developed a rash a few months later. There was a black plaque on the hip, suggesting fixed drug eruption. The DLST(drug-induced lymphocyte stimulation test) was positive for both Sodium picosulfate and Sennoside, whereas patch test was negative. He was successfully treated with discontinuance of both medicines. We diagnosed this case as fixed drug eruption due to Sodium picosulfate or Sennoside.
