Abstract A 2-year-old boy, who was diagnosed as Kawasaki disease and under treatment for 3 weeks, presented to our department. Physical examination revealed erythema nodosum like skin lesions on his leg and livedo racemosa on his limbs and trunk. Skin biopsy from his leg demonstrated the subcutaneous arteritis and phlebitis. Septal panniculitis was also found, that was thought to be induced by inflammation from vasculitis. We diagnosed him as Kawasaki disease accompanied by cutaneous vasculitis. He was treated by corticosteroid pulse therapy, and his symptoms were improved. Cutaneous vasculitis is a very rare symptom in Kawasaki disease.
