HPVワクチン接種後の肩関節痛に漢方薬が有効であった1症例

A Case of Effective Japanese Herbal Medicine（Kampo）for Shoulder Joint Pain after HPV Vaccination

要旨

　ヒトパピローマウイルス（human papillomavirus：HPV）ワクチンは，接種後の慢性疼痛や運動障害などさまざまな有害事象のため約9年間積極的勧奨が差し控えられた。接種の有効性がリスクを明らかに上回ると認められ2022年ワクチン接種勧奨が再開された。今回，HPVワクチン接種後の肩関節痛に漢方薬が有効であった1症例を経験したので報告する。

　The human papillomavirus（HPV）vaccine was not actively recommended for approx. 9 years due to reports of various post-vaccination adverse events such as chronic pain and movement disorders. The HPV vaccine’s recommendation was resumed in 2022 as the effectiveness of this vaccination was recognized to be clearly greater than the risk of adverse events.

　We report a case in which Japanese herbal medicine（kampo）was effective in treating a 13-year-old patient’s shoulder joint pain that developed after he received an HPV vaccination.
