要旨

　小児期および青年期の若年者の約3-4％が注意欠如・多動症に罹患しており，慢性疼痛との関連性が報告されている。今回，鎮痛薬では十分な治療効果を得られなかった注意欠如・多動症児の膝痛に対して抑肝散が奏効したので報告する。

　Approximately 3-4％ of children and adolescents suffer from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder（ADHD）, and an association between ADHD and chronic pain has been reported. We describe the successful treatment of knee pain in a 11-year-old child with ADHD who had shown an inadequate response to analgesics. The Kampo medicine Yokukansan was administered for 11 weeks, and the patient reported no further pain.
