腹膜偽粘液腫の多くは低異型度虫垂粘液性腫瘍が原因で，卵巣病変を認める場合は同腫瘍の直接浸潤や転移巣であることがほとんどである。まれに，卵巣奇形腫から発生する粘液性腫瘍に起因する腹膜偽粘液腫が認められる。

Pseudomyxoma peritonei（PMP）usually originates from low-grade appendiceal mucinous tumors. Rarely, PMP originates from mucinous tumors derived from ovarian mature teratomas. We present a case of a mucin-producing borderline tumor with teratomatous components in the right ovary. Immunohistochemistry demonstrated that the tumor has a lower gastrointestinal phenotype（CK7－/CK20＋）. Despite PMP, imaging and histopathology showed no appendiceal primary tumor. Accurate preoperative detection of teratomatous components via imaging is essential for proper diagnosis and management.
