近年，人工知能（AI）技術の急速な発展に伴い，医療分野，特に画像診断領域におけるAIの応用が注目を集めている。中でも腹部画像診断は，その複雑性と多様性から，AI技術の導入による診断精度の向上と効率化が期待される分野の1つである。本稿では，腹部画像診断におけるAI利用の現状を概観し，その可能性と課題について論じる。

Recent advancements in artificial intelligence（AI）have garnered attention in medical imaging, particularly in abdominal diagnostics. This field, complex due to its anatomical diversity and individual variations, stands to benefit from AI’s potential to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. AI excels in processing large datasets and recognizing patterns, making it well-suited for image analysis. Deep learning has enabled AI to detect abnormalities with high precision. However, challenges persist, including securing quality training data, addressing the “black box” problem of AI decision-making, navigating legal and ethical issues, and implementing AI in clinical settings. It’s crucial to remember that AI serves as a diagnostic aid, with final decisions remaining the physician’s responsibility.
