Recent advances in artificial intelligence(AI)are transforming hepatobiliary and pancreatic imaging. This overview highlights three major application areas:(1)CT reconstruction and denoising to enhance image quality and enable radiation dose reduction;(2)detection, characterization, and segmentation of liver, biliary, and pancreatic lesions to support radiologists in diagnosis;and(3)language-based systems that facilitate guideline-concordant recommendations. We summarize findings from representative studies, including our own, and provide an overview of reported AI performance.
