Thoracic diagnostic imaging plays an important role in the early detection and treatment of lung cancers and diffuse lung diseases, and advances in CT and MRI technology have enabled the detection of microscopic lesions and significantly improved diagnostic accuracy. However, the increased volume of images generated has increased the workload of radiologists. To increase the efficiency and accuracy of diagnostic imaging, artificial intelligence(AI)is becoming increasingly important;AI, particularly deep learning, assists radiologists by rapidly analyzing large data sets to identify and differentiate lesions, improving diagnostic accuracy and reducing radiologists’workload.
