Hepatic tumor

本稿では，肝細胞癌を中心に肝癌の粒子線治療の治療成績に関する知見を整理し，現状と課題を明らかにしたうえで普及に向けた解決策を探索する。粒子線治療には重粒子線治療と陽子線治療が含まれるが，現時点では治療成績やその適応において大きな差異はないと考えられる。肝癌診療における放射線治療自体の位置づけが明確でない現状において，実地臨床上，重粒子線治療と陽子線治療を区別する意義は乏しいと考えられるため，本稿ではまとめて粒子線治療として扱うこととする。

Charged particle therapy is expected to be a novel treatment modality for hepatic tumor that shows good local control rates with minimal adverse events. In this review, we discuss the clinical outcomes, the toxicity and imdications of charged particle therapy, particularly for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma.
