は じ め に
Dual energy CTとは2種類のエネルギーのX線で撮影するCTである．これにより高い物質分別能が実現され，通常のCTでは描出できなかった組織が明瞭に画像化できる．手外科領域では屈筋腱損傷の部位診断に有用であることが報告された．ほかにも手根骨の不顕性骨折や骨挫傷の診断，金属アーティファクト除去による内固定周辺の観察といった新しい画像診断が可能となった．実際の臨床例を紹介する．
