要旨：頚髄損傷者に対する手の機能再建術後の生活への影響について，術後2年以上経過した12人を対象にピンチ力検査と簡易上肢機能検査，ADL，可能になった活動，不便なことを調査した．損傷レベルはC6a(1肢)，C6b(12肢)，C7a(2肢)，C8a(1肢)である．再建されたピンチカは平均1,090gで，簡易上肢機能検査得点は平均49.3点だった．ADL検査32項目のうち10項目はすべての対象者が術後の効果を利用して行っており，5項目はC8aレベルの対象者以外は術後の効果を利用していなかった．ADL以外で術後できるようになった活動は，趣味活動や家事，事務仕事などでその活動が現在の中核的活動である場合，対象者の喜びは大きかった．

　The purpose of this study was to review the long-term result after reconstructive operations of persons with quadriplegia. Pinch strength, simple test for evaluating hand function (STEF) , 32 activities of daily living and convenient/inconvenient activity were evaluated in sixteen hands of twelve persons with C-6, C-7, C-8 spinal cord injury. The average pinch strength was 1, 090 g, and the average STEF was 49.3 points of all reconstructed hands. All persons used pinch strength in ten items of 32 activities of daily living. Some persons were pleased to have access to convenient activities with regard to hobbies and jobs after pinch reconstruction.
