作業療法学生の「精神障害者」に対するイメージの変化について

An investigation into changes of occupational therapy students' images about mentally handicapped persons

要旨：作業療法学生の精神障害者へのイメージを知るために調査を行い，精神障害者との関わりの違いとその前後により，イメージがどのように変化したかを考察した．方法は，調査Ⅰでは精神障害者による演奏会の見学のみにとどめ，Ⅱでは小集団にて一緒に調理実習を行い，Ⅲでは1対1の協同課題を行い，いずれもその前後でイメージ変化を調査した．その結果，①各関わりにおいて，関わり後の方が前に比べ，より良いイメージを持つことが有意に示された．②関わり方が濃厚であるほど好意的なイメージに変化することが示唆された．

　We have conducted a survey of psychiatric patients' images of occupational therapy students, and investigated the process of changing their images through contact with actual patients. The study was made through three groups, including simple observation of patients (group 1), group-work cooking programs (group 2), and one-to-one collaboration (group 3). Also, all of the various steps were carefully investigated.

　In conclusion, psychiatric patients' images were significantly improved through each group. Additionally, more favorable images were obtained in proportion to closer contact such as group 3.
