要旨：社会に内在する価値に無自覚であることで，支援という名目において，かえって障害を有する人たちの否定的価値を助長してしまうことがある．本稿の目的は，そうしたパラドキシカルな現況を明らかにすることにある．

　本稿の構成は次のとおり．①作業療法に内在する価値について整理した．②障害者就労の形態について，「能力主義」と「障害価値」を分析軸として3つの位相があることを述べ，そうした分析視点から「リハビリテーションの位置」を明確化した．③それらの結果から，作業療法に内在する価値について，「ひとの価値」という観点から検討を加えた．

　Disvalue for people with disabilities can be promoted by so-called support with unawareness of inherent value in society. The objective of this paper is to account for this paradoxical situation.

　This paper first classifies inherent values of occupational therapy and then discusses the patterns of employment among people with disabilities, integrating "merit system" and "disability value" as an analytic framework. Three phases in this employment were found, and the analytic perspective shows different rehabilitation positions. Finally, these results are used to discuss the values inherent in occupational therapy from the viewpoint of individual values.
