喉頭・食道重複癌の2例

Two Cases of Double Cancers in the Larynx and Esophagus

I．はじめに

　同一個体に複数の原発性悪性腫瘍が認められた時に重複癌として取り扱われ，単一癌の発生する場合に比べ稀なものとされている。近年，癌治療の成績は，診断技術の向上，ならびに治療の進歩に伴って徐々に向上してきているが，その反面第1の癌の根治的治療がなされた後に，第2の癌，第3の癌の発生が認められた報告も増加の傾向を示すようになった。私共は最近食道癌が先行し，その後喉頭癌の発生をみた重複癌2症例を経験したので，その臨床経過を報告し，併せて若干の文献的考察を加えた。

　One patient was treated by surgical operation, and the other was treated by radiotherapy because of distant metastasis. Histopathologically, all cancers were squamous cell carcinomas. The literature is reviewed and the characteristics of these tumors are summerized as follows :

　1) Double cancers with the primary tumor in the esophagus arc rare because of their poor prognosis.

　2) The incidence of laryngeal double cancer was about 10% of all double cancers.

　3) The usual combinations of laryngeal cancer were with lung, stomach, esophagus and some other cancers in the discreasing order of occurence.
