濾胞性歯牙嚢腫2例

DENTIGEROUS FOLLICULAR CYST, A REPORT OF TWO CASES

　I．緒言

　濾胞性歯牙嚢腫は歯性嚢腫の中では比較的稀なものである。われわれは，現在までに濾胞性歯牙嚢腫を2例経験したので，これら2症例について臨床的，病理学的事項について検討するとともに，従来の文献^1）〜13）を参照し，若干の考察を行なつたのでここに報告する次第である。

　Two cases of dentigerous follicular cyst are reported. In one, a girl, aged 13, complained of swelling of the left nasolabial angle and the left half of the hard palate. The sinus X-ray in lateralprojection revealed a cystic formation in the left maxillary sinus accompanied with unerupted left upper 2nd premolar.

　The second, a boy, aged 6, complained of an acute swelling of the left cheek. X-ray examination through Water's projection demonstrated a diffuse denseness in the maxillary sinus and an unerupted left upper 1st premolar which wasdisplaced up and medialwards. A puncture of the left sinus brought about 10cc of watery, yellowish fluid which revealed more than 2, 000 units of L. D. H.

　After surgical removal of the dentigerous follicular cyst including the abnormal premolar, a supernumerary tooth was found buried in the upper medial sinus wall.
