口腔底癌の2症例

Two Cases of Cancer of the Floor of the Mouth

　I．緒言

　口腔底癌は全口腔内癌中10〜15％を占め，比較的頻度は少ないが，予後は最も悪く，また形態機能的問題もあって手術を躊躇する疾患である。当教室において2例の口腔底癌を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Two cases of carcinoma of the floor of the mouth treated by surgery, postoperative irradiation and immunological therapy were reported.

　The first case, a 45-year-old man, first diagnosed as having papilloma by biopsy, but was found carcinoma as the result of pathological study of extirpated tumor. The other case, a 52-year-old man, was diagnosed as having squamous cell carcinoma. Six months after therapy, bone necrosis of the mandibule was occurred, and a small lesion was removed. Both patients were heavy drinker and smoker, and had poor oral hygiene.
