前庭症状が顕著であったHunt症候群の1症例

A Case of Hunt's Syndrome with Severe Vestibular Symptoms

I．はじめに

　Varicella-Zoster virusによる神経炎の結果，帯状疱疹，顔面神経麻痺，内耳症状を呈する疾患はHunt症候群と呼ばれ，近年はこれに他の脳神経症状が合併し，多発性脳神経症状を呈する症例も散見されるようになっている。最近筆者らは，顕著な前庭症状を主体とした内耳神経症状が，他の神経症状に先行したHunt症候群の1例を経験したので，若干の考按を加えて報告する。

　A case of Hunt's syndrome showing profound disturbance of the 8th nerve appeared prior to other cranial nerve disturbances was reported. A 72-year-old male complained of vertigo and left hearing impairment, and left facial palsy and left temporalgia appeared 9 days later. The neuro-otological examinations showed a typical disorder of the left peripheral nerves.

　Vertigo, facial palsy and temporalgia were well responded to the treatment, but hearing impairment was not.
