LARYNGOCELE VENTRICULARIS: A CASE REPORT

　I．はじめに

　laryngoceleは，モルガニー小嚢の拡張により発生した空気を内容とする嚢胞であり，比較的稀な疾患とされている。嚢胞はその進展方向により，外方へ発育し，甲状舌骨膜を貫いて側頸部に嚢胞を形成するexternal typeと，喉頭内腔へ嚢胞を形成するinternal type，およびそれらの混合型mixed typcに分類されている^1,2）。

　今回筆者らは，mixed typeのlaryngoceleの1例を経験し，頸部外切開により嚢胞摘出を試み，幸いにも治癒しえたので，ここに報告する。

　A 64-year-old man who had been complaining of recurrent voice change presented a tumor in the right lateral neck. Laryngoscopic examination revealed a cystic mass in the right supraglottic area. Cervical X-ray tomograms showed an air-filled mass, which suggested laryngocele of mixed type. The laryngocele was successfully removed by lateral neck approach and the patient has been free from his symptoms.
