　I．緒言

　laryngoceleは，1829年にLarreyによって初めて"含気性の頸部腫瘤"として報告され，その後1867年にVirchowによって命名されたといわれる^1,2）。以後欧米においては，しばしば報告例がみられるが，本邦では最近2例が報告されたのみ^3,4）で，比較的まれな疾患である。

　今回，声帯ポリープに合併し喉頭から下咽頭にかけて膨隆し，嚥下障害等の症状を示したlaryngoceleの1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 64-year-old male complained of throat pain, hoarseness and dysphagia. Cervical tomogram showed a large air-filled mass extending from the larynx to the hypopharynx, and vocal cord polyps were also found. The diagnosis of laryngocele (mixed type) was confirmed by CT scan. The laryngocele was incised to escape the contained air and the removal of vocal cord polyps was performed under general anesthesia.

　The postoperative course was uneventful without recurrence.
