巨口症6例とその形成手術について

A REPORT OF SIX CASES OF MACROSTOMIA AND THEIR SURGICAL CORRECTIONS

　I．はじめに

　第1鰓弓および第2鰓弓の関与した顔面奇形について，種々の名称，形態が述べられている。当教室では以前より先天性中耳奇形に対して内耳開窓術の症例を多数検討してきたが，今回，このうち小顎症，巨口症，耳奇形を主徴とした，いわゆる第1鰓弓症候群および，その不全型の6症例について，巨口症の形成手術として，連続Z-plastyを用いて，良好な成績を得たので報告する。

　The authors reported six cases of the first branchial syndrome with macrostomia, hemignathia, and, the ear deformity. With reviewing the previous reports on this malformation, the embryological implication and etiology were discussed.

　The outline of the surgical management (Z-plasty) was described.
