I.緒言
A 37-year-old man with hemangioma of the nose was treated with ligation of the bilateral external carotid arteries and several cryosurgeries, however he had profuse epistaxis after these procedures recurrently, and finally amputation of the nose was unavoidable. Histological examination revealed venous hemangioma without malignancy, though inspite of benign tumor, the clinical course was unsatisfactory. This case suggested that the method and the time of treatment for this disease should be carefully selected.
