口蓋扁桃部に発生した横紋筋肉腫の1例

A Case of Rabdomyosarcoma in the Tonsillar Region

　はじめに

　頭頸部領域に発生する悪性固形腫瘍は上皮性由来のものが多く，骨・軟部組織腫瘍は比較的少ない^1）。頭頸部領域の骨・軟部組織腫瘍の中では横紋筋肉腫の発生頻度が高く，主な発生部位は眼窩，副鼻腔である^2）。今回われわれは，頭頸部領域の横紋筋肉腫のうち発生部位として少ない左口蓋扁桃部の横紋筋肉腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

A 56-year-old woman complained of a swelling of the left soft palate and palatine tonsil. The swellingwas not improved by radiation therapy (32Gy) and chemotherapy using CDDP, THP-ADM and PEP. Therefore, partial excision of the mesopharynx, tongue and the base of the oral cavity, radical neck dissection, and reconstruction using the musculus rectus abdominis flap were performed. The extirpat-ed specimen was pathologically diagnosed as rab-domyosarcoma by immunohistochemical stain. The postoperative course was favorable.
