外耳道に原発したAdenoid Cystic Carcinomaの1症例

ADENOID CYSTIC CARCINOMA OF THE EXTERNAL EAR CANAL

　I．はじめに

　外耳道に悪性腫瘍が原発することは比較的まれであり，その病理組織学的発生頻度をみると，扁平上皮癌がもつとも多く，adenoid cystic carcino ma（cylindroma）の報告例は数少ない。

　頭頸部領域におけるadenoid cystic carcinomaの多くは，大小唾液腺あるいは上気道粘液腺から発生し，部位としては耳下腺，硬口蓋，舌，上顎洞などの報告が多い。

　A case of adenoid cystic carcinoma of the ear in a woman, aged 78, is reported. The patient suffered a severe pain in the left ear for the period of 3 years. The external aural canal appeared to be swollen and showed sanguinous discharge. A biopsy taken from this area showed a growth of adenoid cystic carcinoma. The patient was immediately operated upon with mastoidectomy, a complete removal of the soft tissues of the external auditory meatus as well as the pina. No postoperative irradiation treatment was administered.
