外耳道Cylindroma（Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma）の1症例

CYLINDROMA (ADENOID CYSTIC CARCINOMA) OF THE EXTERNAL AUDITORY CANAL: A CASE REPORT

　Ⅰ．緒言

　耳鼻咽喉科領域において，cylindromaの報告をみると，その発生部位の多くは，大小唾液腺であり，口腔あるいは鼻腔，副鼻腔，咽頭などの上気道粘膜にも発見されている。外耳道に発生した本腫瘍の報告はまれで，本邦では岩田^1），河田^2），小野寺^3）などの数例にすぎない。周知のごとく，本腫瘍の特徴はその発育がきわめて緩慢なことにある。発生部位によつては，腫瘍の早期発見はまず不可能といつてよい。われわれは耳痛発作を主訴とした外耳道cylindromaの1例を経験したので，その概要を報告し，諸賢の参考に供し，ご批判を得たいと思う。

　A case of cylindroma (adenoid cystic carcinoma) found in the external auditory canal is reported. Chief complaint of a woman, aged 18, was a severe pain in the left ear.

　The authors emphasize the importance of pain as an early manifestation of symptoms in this affection.
