カネンドマイシン筋注によると思われる難聴の3症例

KANENDOMYCIN DEAFNESS, A CASE REPORT

　Ⅰ．緒言

　最近，放線菌Streptomyces kanamyceticusの一変異株から分離された広範囲スペクトルを有する新しいアミノグリコシド系抗生物質，硫酸アミノデオキシカナマイシン（カネンドマイシン，以下KDMと略）の筋注後に難聴となつた3症例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Three cases of deafness due to intramuscular administration of kanendomycin (KDM) are reported.

The features of the deafness in these cases are generally bilateral with sensoneural losses of high tones which are irreversible.

Ototoxic effects usually occur with usage of high dosage of the medication. In patients with impaired renal function, the hearing loss has a tendency to become a total deafness.

KDM hearing loss resembles the deafness caused by kanamycin administration.
