鼻中隔より発生せるAmeloblastomaの1症例—鼻中隔腫瘍症例の検討

AMELOBLASTOMA OF THE NASAL SEPTUM A REVIEW OF LITERATURE ON TUMORS INVOLVING THIS AREA

　Ⅰ．緒言

　エナメル芽細胞腫すなわちAmeloblastomaはエナメル質形成の潜在力を有する細胞に由来するembryonal typeの腫瘍であり，大部分が下顎と上顎に発生し，鼻中隔に発生する事は稀であり，本邦においては未だ鼻中隔より発生したAmeloblastomaの報告はなく，今回私はこのような症例を経験したので，ここに報告するとともに，併せて本邦における鼻中隔腫瘍症例を統計的にまとめた。

　A man, aged 24, complained of swelling in the left nostril with nasal obstruction. A tumor was surgically removed under general anesthesia. The growth was completely removed. The growth was found to be arising from the septum in the left nostril.

　Histological examination of the growth was an ameloblastoma. A search in the literature showed that the present case is the first to be reported in this country.

　No signs of recurrence is seen 6 months after the operation.
