心因性難聴psychogenic deafness, nonorganic deafnessが小児においてもそれほど稀な疾患でないことは，すでにいくつかの報告1）3）-12）14）18）19）22）により明らかであり，わが国においても服部ら，立木らの報告がある。著者は今回11歳の少女に見られた本疾患の1例を経験したので，簡単に報告し，若干の考察を加えてみたい。
A case of functional deafness in a girl, aged 11, is reported.
The patient used a hearing aid in her daily life both at the home and in the school but, appeared to be under a constant stress.
The pure tone test revealed, 70 dB airborn, horizontal type; bone conduction test, 50 dB horizontal type. The voice test revealed no significance, The Lombard's test was positive.
The diagnosis of functional test was made.
