耳科用吸引管の考察と試作

A NEW ASPIRATION CANULA FOR AURAL SURGERY

　I．はじめに

　かつては手術の成否は術者の技術に左右されていたが，近年は血管縫合器や手術顕微鏡にみられるごとく，手術器械の良否や有無も重要な因子となつている。耳科手術もこの傾向は強く，術式の進歩につれて種々の特殊な器械が考案されている。使い易く便利な手術器械は手術を円滑にすすめ短時間に終らせて患者，術者の負担を少なくすることになる。

　現在，耳科手術の中で吸引管はまず欠くべからざるものの一つとなつているが，使用法や説明は各手術書においても余り詳しくのべられていない。今回著者は耳科診療，ことに耳科手術における吸引管の役割を考察するとともに，われわれの希望をできるだけ満たす様な吸引管を試作したのでご参考に供する次第である。

The aspirating tube is indispensable in aural surgery. The points that weighs the importance of the tube in its choice may be considered as follows: a proper caliber, a facility by which the tube may be immediately cleared of any untoward stoppage, proper resiliency and an adjustablity in the strength of the suction power.

With these points in view a suction tube devised is reported.
