右上顎洞に発生した神経鞘腫の一症例

A NEURINOMA OF THE MAXILLARY SINUS

　Ⅰ．緒言

　副鼻腔に発生する良性腫瘍としては，線維腫，乳頭腫，血管腫，骨腫，軟骨腫，また血管腫などがあげられているが，神経鞘腫，特に1908年，Verocayが提唱したNeurinomaの副鼻腔における発生はきわめて稀れとされている。

　私たちは最近，副鼻腔内に発生した巨大な腫瘍，試験切除標本ではMeningiomaの診断を受けたが摘出標本の一部からNeurinomaの所見を得た症例に遭遇したのでここに報告する。

　A case of neurinoma of maxillary sinus is reported. A woman, aged 78, complained of right cheek, exophthalmos, visual disturbance and pain in the eyeball of the involved side. The maxillary sinus was operated upon by Cald-well-Luc's method; the tumor was removed. Definitive diagnosis of neurinoma was made by microscopic examination.
