人慢性副鼻腔炎粘膜内グリコーゲン分布に関する研究

A STUDY ON GLYCOGEN DISTRIBUTION IN THE MUCOUS MEMBRANE OF THE DISEASED NASAL ACCESORY SINUS

　Ⅰ．緒言

　副鼻腔炎粘膜はその病態が多岐にわたり，その病理組織学的所見も複雑である。生理的な面から見ると，慢性炎症時において新陳代謝の亢進がみられることは，過去幾多の先人が明らかにしているところである。近年組織化学的証明法の開発が進み，つぎつぎに新しい知見が付け加えられつつある。著者は古くからその存在を知られ，かつ新陳代謝上重要な位置を示めるグリコーゲンに注目し，粘膜内の分布状態と病態との間になんらかの関係があるのではなかろうかと，グリコーゲンの検出法としてBulmer氏法を用い，組織化学的に検討した。

　The glycogen distribution in the diseased sinus mucous membrane is studied by means of the Blumer's test on specimens obtained from 55 cases of chronic sinusitis. It was found to be high, structurally, in the basal cells, cell infiltrated parts, glandular and vascular parts. Similarly it ranged descendingly in various pathological conditions such as the mixed type, infiltrated type, fibrotic and the least in the edematous type.

　The glycogen distribution becomes increased with the duration of the disease along with the increase in mucopus and pus discharges.

　The author believes the glycogen distribution becomes heightened at the peak of the disease but gradually subside in accordance to the stage of recovery of the condition.
