SINOPLASTIK例より見た慢性上顎洞炎粘膜炎症の可逆性について

THE REVERSIBILITY OF DISEASED SINUS MUCOUS MEMBRANE VIEWED FROM THE STANDPOINT OF SINOPLASTICS

　Ⅰ．緒言

　従来慢性副鼻腔炎の病的粘膜の炎症は一程度以上高度のものは非可逆性であり，手術により徹底的に除去しなければならないといわれているが，この説にも種々の疑問がある。私は数年来炎症性上顎洞粘膜を再使用するSINOPLASTIKを行ない好成績を得ている報告をしてきたが，今回篩骨洞に移植された高度炎症性であつた上顎洞粘膜の異物排出機能の回復状態を観察し，また臨床的に治癒状態を示している症例の移植粘膜について病理組織学的に観察し高度病変のある副鼻腔粘膜も状況次第では機能的にもまた病理組織学的にも可逆性を有していることを認めたので報告する。

　It has been contended that the mucous membrane of the nasal sinus cavity when affected with chronic inflammation beyond a certain degree becomes irreversible in regaining its healthy normal state.

　However, in my own experience with 9 cases of sineplastic operations the diseased maxillary sinus mucous membrane was capable of accomplishing recovery both, histologically and functionally within the period of 2 or 3 years following an adequate surgical procedure.
