上顎に発生したAneurysmal bone cyst症例

ANEURYSMAL BONE CYST OF THE MAXILLARY BONE

　Ⅰ．緒言

　Aneurysmal bone cystは比較的稀な疾患で，主として長管骨，椎骨，扁平骨に発生するため整形外科領域での発表がみられている。しかし，顔面骨に発生することは極めて珍らしく，外国ではYarington^1）などの上顎にみられた数例の報告があるに過ぎず，本邦においてはその報告例を知らない。われわれは最近，学童の上顎に発生したAneurysmal bone cyst症例を経験したので，ここにその臨床経過を紹介したいと思う。

　Aneurysmal bone cyst is a benign bony affeclion of rare occurrence. It has a tendency to recur but no malignancy is noted. The real nature of this disease is still not well known. In other countries a few cases of this type are reported but, the present case is the first to be reported here.

　A boy, aged 8, complained of nasal blockage and swelling of the cheek of the same side. Radical operations had been performed but with recurrences on each occasion. Finally, the patient was operated by Denker's method with posto-perative irradiation of 3,000R of Co⁶⁰. No recurrence is seen thereafter.
