I．はじめに

　頬部腫脹を主訴として受診した患者を診断するさいには，単なる嚢胞から悪性腫瘍まで幅広く疾患を考慮する必要がある。今同われわれは左頬部腫脹を主訴として受診し，穿刺により血性の液が吸引されたため当初はいわゆる上顎洞血瘤腫の疑いがもたれたが，精査を進めて最終的に病理にてancurysmal bone cyst（動脈瘤様骨嚢腫）という，鼻副鼻腔領域ではまれな組織診断を得た1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 15-year-old female with an aneurysmal bone cyst of the left maxillary sinus was reported.

The clinical and radiological features, histopa-thology and treatment are discribed. Needle aspira-tion of the maxillary sinus disclosed dark bloody fluid. Computer tomography demonstrated bal-looned-out distention of a thin shell of bone, cal-cification and irregular margin of the sinus. Arte-riogram demonstrated no abnormality, and the tumor was removed by curettage and laser surgery.
